I used the word "I" today. Who would have thought I'd spend years and years in school learning to write in a specific way only to arrive at a place where it is perfectly appropriate to say "I selected the social constructivist model because..."
No kidding, I used the word I. And it is just fine! WOW.
It's been a busy and productive day. I wrote my conceptual framework piece. I wrote an abstract to submit for presentation, I read some Advanced Qualitative Methods work (here is the summary: Glasner & Strauss met and were great friends, Glasner and Strauss went their seperate ways and then threw rocks at each other but no one else could throw rocks because they were still friends), thought about stuff, and now I'm off to the department chair's pool party. WHAT A GREAT way to sum up the day!
